About Woodwork Designs Hawaii

Woodwork Designs Hawaii is a family-owned custom woodworking and fabrication shop located in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi, just minutes from the H-3 and Likelike Highway.

​

What began with a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship has grown into a creative hub where traditional skills, modern technology, and years of hands-on experience come together under one roof.

We specialize in custom woodworking, millwork, custom cabinetry, CNC routing, laser engraving, UV printing, and custom fabrication. Our capabilities allow us to serve homeowners, fellow craftsmen, contractors, businesses, hotels, military members, and commercial clients throughout Oʻahu and Hawaiʻi.

From custom cabinetry, commercial displays, and signage to awards, plaques, paddles, and one-of-a-kind creations, we enjoy projects that require creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship.

​

A meaningful part of our work is creating custom wooden urns and memorial pieces. Over the years, families have specifically sought us out to create personalized urns that honor and reflect the life of their loved one. We understand the importance of these projects and approach each one with care, respect, and attention to detail.

We are also proud to regularly create custom military PCS, farewell, and recognition gifts for service members stationed in Hawaiʻi. Each month, we work with military units, coworkers, friends, and families to create personalized plaques, paddles, engraved memorabilia, and custom gifts that recognize a service member's time, accomplishments, and connection to Hawaiʻi.

Our dedicated laser engraving and UV printing room has expanded our ability to personalize, print, and fabricate on a wide range of materials. Combined with our woodworking and CNC capabilities, we can often take a client's idea from concept to finished product right here in our Kāneʻohe shop.

​

We also provide woodworking services for local craftsmen and businesses, including wide belt sanding, jointing, planing, CNC work, and resawing for veneers. Premium hardwoods, including Hawaiian Koa, Mango, Monkeypod, Acacia, Sapele, and Teak, may also be available.

Visitors can now stop by our showroom to see examples of our work, discuss project ideas, and experience firsthand what we are capable of creating. Our location is also home to My Gift Shop Hawaii, our retail gift shop featuring unique custom sewn items, handcrafted wood products, personalized gifts, laser engraving, UV printing, and many unique items created right here in our shop.
